Moose Jaw Warriors Players Suspended for Season

Four Players Out After Coach Suspension

EPS Incident Cited

Moose Jaw, SK - The Moose Jaw Warriors announced today that four players have been suspended for the remainder of the season following an incident in Edmonton. The players are Connor Ungar, Josh Brook, Eric Alarie, and Ryder Korczak.

The suspensions come after the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) announced that it is investigating an incident involving the four players. The nature of the incident has not been released, but the EPS has said that it is believed to have occurred on March 8, 2023.

The Warriors have also suspended head coach and general manager Mark O'Leary for the remainder of the season. O'Leary was not involved in the incident, but the Warriors have said that they are suspending him "pending the results of an internal investigation."

The Warriors are currently in the midst of a playoff series against the Saskatoon Blades. The Blades won Game 5 of the series in overtime on May 4, 2024, giving them a 3-2 lead in the series.

The Warriors will be without the four suspended players for the remainder of the playoffs. It is unclear at this time if O'Leary will be reinstated if the Warriors advance to the next round.
